I have two pair of black ropers style 3702 that I have had for some time. I have a new pair of style 3133 that looks the same but will not polish as brilliant as the 3702. Why??

These are great, durable boots. I have owned a pair since 2001. They still look new.

The leather on the 3133 is a goatskin or tanned like a goatskin and simply is not finished to accept the high gloss ( like a uniform boot) that the 3702 will. The 3702, if I remember correctly is the "kiddie" leather the last pair of them I got I had to special order. they WILL take the high gloss shine
