I have always worn Justin's. They are the best ever! They are always very comfortable. I am getting ready to get some Bay Apache Gypsys! At the time I have the AQHA Foundation boots! I LOVE them!
I am a 56 year old female and suffer with athritis in various joints in Dec 2006 I had my left hip replaced and because I have athritis in my right ankle the doctor suggested that I wear a shoe that would give me total support of the ankle and no more high heels. What he was talking about wearing was "old folks comforts"the black lace-up shoe". I asked if the cowboy boot would do it and he said "sounds good to me". Well I already owned a few pair, black, brown, and a pair of ropers, so I bagged up all of my shoes(except a pair of flip flops) and gave them away and started wearing nothing but cowboy boots, and I don't wear pants. I wear them with skirts, dresses and even with evening wear. Now 2 years later I own over a dozen and over half of those are Justins due to comfort, style(hard to find because I wear a 12 in ladies so I have to wear mens so sometimes I get them dyed to match my wardrobe) and affordability.
I have ordered they same boot for a good many years. I always keep a new pair in thte closet just in case.
They boots appear to last for a very long time but I have to replace the soles and heels at least every 9 months. Recently I talked with my cobbler about how to increase the life of my boots. What he suggested seems to be working beyond my expectations. He replaced the soles with a heavy rubber sole and the heal with a new, very dense rubber he says is used by bikers for their boots. It comes in a rectangular form so he carves it to fit the boot. Also, anytime I am near his shop, at least every three months, I stop by and he conditions and shines the boots with all those magic wheels that he has.
I wear my favorite boot at least 5 days a week and we are now on the forth year. They still look brand new.
Back in December of 1992 my wife bought me a sport coat and it was to small, so I returned it and took the money and purchased my first pare of justin cowboy boots, that was 16 years ago and they are still one of my best pare of boots.
I have wore them for cowboy atcion shooting and out on the town and to church and I still have peaple ask me if I got a new pair of boots.
I dont think you can buy a better pair of boots than Justin boots thanks for the making a great boot customer for life.
I drove truck for years. I'd go through a pair of boots, two sometimes three times a year.
The leather would dry out and crack around the sides.
I started hauling cotton seed to the feedlots. I didn't pay attention at first. After a while I noticed that walking in the cotton seed made my boots look clean and shiny all the time.
Better yet several months went by and my boots didn't dry out or crack, they stayed looking new and cared for until I wore the soles out. I finally was able to wear a pair of boots out on the bottom before the tops went bad.
I would like to find something as good as the oils from the cotton seeds to use on my boots all of the time.
When my 1st grandson was born, my daughter named him Justin Tyler...When I asked how that name came about her answer was because she liked Justin boots and because her Mother (my wife) lived in east Texas near Tyler. He is seven and in the second grade..loves to wear his Justin boots and Justin belt buckle with his Wranglers....the little girls just think he is the cutiest thing!!
I work in an office where the woman's attire dominates conversation. I wear my Jeans and my Justins and don't fit in with the so called "IN STYLE". But I just let all those smart remarks roll off my back. Because anything they say about my Justin Cowboy boots couldn't bother me as much as my feet and legs did before I got a pair. I secretly laugh to myself because I too once wore those things they call shoes and tried to keep up with the latest trend (or torture). When I go home and take my boots off at night after being up and on my feet all day, I know my feet and legs aren't going to keep me awake at night. I wear my boots year round and anywhere I go. I couldn't care less if someone looks down their nose at me and thinks I'm some hay seed for having a different pair for everyday of the week and not owning regular shoes. I wear them to work, on outings, riding, or when I go out. I have a style of my own and I wouldn't trade with them if they gave boot!
As a family we hunt and at the hunting camp we wear justin workboots around when we are not in the woods . My boys are 4and 7 and love the fact that their boots are just like their dads. we actually did not know they came in such small sizes ourselves but someone gave them boots like their dads as a present. the little one does not want to take his off.
My brother swore by these boots, he works all the time at dock where he has for 25 years. He has gotten just about everyone to buy a pair. Due they are the best boots on concrete. Now my husband has a pair and loves them. My brother has been one of your biggest fans. He gets a pair for Christmas, he is kind of poor, but he takes his bonus he gets to buy a pair of boots, "he's says it is the best money he has every spent". If you every give away boots, please send a pair to my brother.
I bought a pair of Justins, 4740 in the bark brown. I then wore them all day on hard pavement and found out that my feet did NOT HURT at the end of the day. Because I put in long days with our bird of prey programs, (www.birdsofprey.net) I needed a boot that looked classic, yet was comfortable. I've found it in the Justins. I've gotten rid of all of my other boots and now have 3 pairs of Justin 4740's I rotate to keep them good looking.
They are the best boots I'd ever recieved. My dad bought me a pair and i love them. im a barrel racer and it gives u strenghth in your legs to kick that horse and get around them barrels. They are high quality and you'll never reget them. I love them more then my Twisted X boots. I give Justin boots a high five and may many more come to you.
I work. I play. I ride. I am always on my feet. I was beginning to limp because of my heels hurting. A co-worker told me about her fat babies. I went to the western store looking for a pair. What I found was the "George Strait" water proof boot for ladies. I had never felt the sole of boot or a shoe that was as soft as this pair of Justins. My right foot is wider because of a "Bunion". These boots don't rub my foot. When I walk on concrete, my feet don't hurt. When I play with my grandkids, my feet don't hurt. When I ride, my feet don't hurt as I dismount from the horse. So far, no matter how hard I mash down on the sole of the boot, I still feel soft. I haven't jumped, stomped, or kicked hard enough to get past the soft my feet feel. I love my boots. They are the best boots I have ever worn, no, not just boots, the best shoes I have ever worn.
Dear Justin boots Co, A few years ago I kept entering a contest to win a pair of your boots although it took me a year of entering most everyday I finally won a pair of chukkas!! I was very broke at the time and had 3 children to provide for and we all know how expensive that can be. My own shoes were torn and tattered but I knew I couldn't afford any shoes for myself because the children always came first. I think God may have had something to do with me winning as well. Needless to say I was ecstatic to win. How nice it was to have such a nice durable pair of boots for the winter. They also work for cool summer nights. They are very comfortable too because I have arthritis I can't believe how comfortable they really are. I have never found a boot that fits so well any where else. Justin has my vote as number one for comfort and fit and stylish looking. Thank You Laurie Muladore-Figueroa
Why does everybody talk about Justin Boots?I will tell you why there the best in the world. There comfortable, feel good own look good own and can be Fashionable!!!I love them I live in the country and every country girl needs boots.I have 9 goats so there great to where down to the barn.I tell you there great, ask for some at Christmas they would make a great present.
I’m a horseback rider in the southwestern United States. The southwest is best known for its ruggedness, dry climate, saguaro cacti and wildlife; particularly the rattle snake. As an avid rider, I am accustomed to spotting rattlesnakes and admiring them at a safe distance.
One brisk autumn day while using a well-trodden path, I found myself in an extreme close encounter with a rattlesnake. The snake was resting on a slab of sandstone taking in the heat radiating from the sun when my quarter horse, Charlie caught a glimpse of the rattlesnake. Naturally, Charlie acted suddenly. With his legs stiff in the air and his back arched, Charlie bucked gallantly forcing me to fall to the ground. While on the ground, I hear the ever-popular sound of the southwest resonating: the hollow beads of the rattle shaking profusely inside its tail. The rattlesnake, a mere two to four feet away from my feet is poised stiffly, and is about to strike. With my eyes fixed on the creature, I move diligently away. Never making a sudden move knowing that the rattler will strike anytime soon. The only thing on my mind is how well I would take the pain.
Still moving slowly, I realize I am only three feet away from being at a safe distance. My heart is pounding and my brow is sweaty. I make one small move and without notice the rattlesnake strikes at full force. I move my leg hoping to be out of range. I felt an impact and I knew in my mind the rattlesnake caught its victim. I looked down to evaluate the damage and to my surprise, the snake’s fangs had penetrated the heel of my boot. The snake was stuck! Charlie galloped away and I ended up walking home with this in mind: my Justin boots saved my life.
Justin boots are the best boots ever made, as far as I am concerened. I have heel spurs and work on concrete floors all day. Unfortunatly I have to wear tennis shoes with orthodics in them. My feet hurt all day long and my legs as well, and on some days into my back. But when I get home and have to go out or I am just going out for the fun of it I wear my Justins. But when i wear my Justins I have no trouble with my feet, legs or back and can wear them hours on in. Just wish some one would come up with some justins tennis shoes for those of us who has to wear them to work. I am a CNA so it is nessary to wear tennis shoes and be on our feet all day. Thanks you for being there for the after hours needs. Will wear them with pride.
I have had the pleasure of being a member of the Reno Rodeo Comittee for 19 years. In those 19 years I have come to find that the Justin Work Boot with the Double Comfort System are the only boots that keeps me going during the 9+ days of the rodeo. I work on the Security Committee which requires you to be on your feet a lot. Access control is a big part of our job. Beleive me I have tried other boots but none compare to my Justin's. I also wear them riding and working around my property.
My apache's are the most comfortable and the best looking boots I've ever had!! Last summer while getten er'done ... at the Wild Water Bubba Olympics, I never got so many compliments on one pair of boots.. I was the Queen of the Olympics being the toughest female .. the only female and came in 6th place beating out half the Men! Thanks for Justin Boots.. I'm still hanging tough! I do plumbing work and my feet are in the dirt and pushing a shovel some days.. I used to have bad arches and now.. I dont even think I have had any pain since I got my boots. I wear my boots everywhere!! Every concert I go to.. and thats a lot.. just went to see Brad Paisly,Jewell , chuck wicks.. Dirks bently, kenny Chesney hank, .. I have stood, stompped, stamped and danced most of the time and my feet ALWAYS felt like I was standing on air! I used to take off my boots in the truck when a show is over.. now I wear them till my head hits the pillow!.. So next year just remember,,, this Queen Bubbet Will be wearing her apaches to the olympics again! Thanks Justin Boots!! Gatordone!
It's Ironic that I just took out my Favorite Pair of Justin Boots that have been in my closet for over 20 years. These were my first pair of Justins and I wore them for the first on a workday where the weather report was for possible snow. Of course when you receive a weather report in NYC you kind of take it in stride as its rarely very accurate. Unfortunately on this day they were so wrong that by 12pm there was a blizzard and we all left work and jumped into any available subway to go home. Then it happened. 10 minutes after we left the train stopped in the middle of the track outside the tunnel and the conductor walked through telling everyone that it was unsafe to go any further and he refused to go any further and was leaving. He actually left us in the train and we then had to walk all the way through to get out. We were on the 'L' (elevated train) above the main highway so we all had to walk down from the 'L' and find another form of transportation on the street.
At this point 2 more inches of snow had fallen and there was no option but to begin walking and try to find a ride. I was about 10 miles from my home. The road was direct, so I just kept walking. One by one people disappeared in the group I was walking with and I was eventually all alone in my overcoat, jeans, cowboy hat and Justin Boots. The blizzard had begun and I couldn't see in front of my nose. I tried to wave down police cars and they drove right by not seeing me.I was all alone with nothing but hard windy snow smacking me in my face. At one point I had to cross a small bridge and it was there that I actually thought that I was going to die. I pushed myself foot over foot in the icy path slipping and sliding and falling down many times. If you didn't believe in God in the past you certainly did now.
The snow was up to my knees. I struggled to breath as I was totally exhausted and the air was as frozen as the path I walked. All alone I pushed through, the hair on my face as well as my coat was solid ice, and I just went foot by foot forward. After 6 hours I arrived home. When I got to my front door an old lady wouldn't let me in as I looked so scarry! My Beard, Eyebrows, Hat and Coat were Solid Ice! Eventually of course I got in. I made it up to my apartment, ripped my clothes off and let them drop where I stood. Put on some coffee and went right into the shower. I was so exhausted that I fell asleep on the couch and awakened early the next morning.
I couldn't believe that I had made it through the snow storm. The wind still shrieked in my ears and I thanked God for my strength and the ability to get home safely.
I then saw my clothes in a puddle in the walkway of my apartment and picked them up. My poor boots were the last thing I went to look at, knowing that they would be ruined. Amazingly they were in fine shape...except for the heels and souls. The heals were unbelievably totally gone and remarkably the souls were worn down to almost nothing but still there. These Justin Boots had helped me make this Unbelievable Journey. Without their Sturdy Support and Durability I would have never been able to complete my treck. My feet were kept Dry and Warm while I was given a strong Ally to make my Strides in the snow easier.
These boots saved me as much as the strength that came from an unknown force I had been blessed with. As I said, I just took them out this past weekend and am know wearing them to an upcoming concert! With proper care they still look great and are very comfortable.
Thank You Justin. My first Purchase of Justins came Just In Time!
Hello my name is Janette and I'm the mother and wife of two rough and tumble guys. My experience with Justin boots began with my husband who is a die hard Justin boot man. He has helped with rodeo's and they are the only boots that held up under the stress and wear of that job. After our son came along he developed a love of rodeo and loves to wear boots. We have tried several brands of boots and all of them failed us he would tear them up in a matter of days. When we finally got a pair of Justin's for him, He out grew them before he tore them up. Thanks for making such a quality product. I can honestly say as far as money wise in today's economy. I would defiantly spend the money for Justin's for my men
My father was working construction wearing some of your great boots and happen to take a fall and fell from one scafling to another and broke his left ankle, well before the EMS crews to get to him, his ankle swelled up so big they when they got there they couldn't get the boot off. He told them if they tried to pull it off he would kick them off. Anyway they ended up having to cut the boot off his foot. After he recovered from his broken ankle he had a zipper put in his boots and continues to wear them to this day and all I can say is Thank You Justin Boots for saving my fathers life.
My wedding was scheduled for July 9th, 1983. It was the week before; the dresses were getting their final fittings; the tuxedos were ready and my future husband was VERY insistant that he wear cowboy boots with his tux. His best man and grooms men all were wearing the standard black shoes - he wasn't having it. I only wore Justin boots and that is all I would buy him. I found a great pair of grey lizards that matched the tuxedo perfectly. He decided that he wanted to show his mom and dad; so he drove his Chevy out to their ranch house (wearing his new boots) and as he went out to the barn he had a meet and greet with a CopperHead. The new boots saved his life. The snake went for his leg - fangs through the jeans and stuck in the leather - not touching my groom to be. To this day - we have a beautiful daughter, a handsome son who is 82nd Airborne - serving in Iraq and three wonderful grandchildren. Thank you Justin Boots for making strong, durable boots and hold up to anything and look awesome at the same time. July was 25 years - looking forward to 25 more :)
Some 20 years ago I got my first pair of Justin 2252 Bay Apache boots. I wore them everywhere, even when I learned to ride my first motorcycle. After I wore them out, I was lucky enough to come across a pair of 17" tall Justin 2539's. When riding the bike or horses through less than favorable terrain, the extra 5" over the Bay Apaches really proved their worth saving my legs and pants from being cut and tore up. Then long after I wore those out, I came across a pair of 123's. The 123's are the best boot I've ever had when riding through thistles and thornes and they're even good for riding the bike when it's cold. The Vibram soles make them good tough durable and comfortable boots that will outlast anything I've ever had before.
I STARTED RIDING AT A LATE AGE (IN MY 40'S). I COULD NOT FIND ANY PULL-ON BOOTS TO FIT UNLESS I GOT TO A SIZE OR TWO BIGGER THAN WHAT I NEEDED.
MY FEET HAVE HIGH ARCHES AND ONLY A 5 TO 5.5 WIDE IN REGULAR SHOES WOULD FIT SO WHEN I TRIED TO FIND WESTERN BOOTS ALL I COULD DO WAS GET LACE UPS WHICH I NEVER HAVE LIKED.
WHEN YOU CAME OUT WITH THE JUSTIN GYPSY BOOTS IN 8 INCH, I FOUND A BOOT THAT I COULD GET A 6 TO 6.5 AND STILL BE ABLE TO PULL THEM ON WITH VERY LITTLE TROUBLE AND THEY WERE COMFORTABLE FOR BOTH MY ARCHES AND MY BIG CALF (SHORT LEGS WERE ALSO A PROBLEM AND I COULD NOT WEAR THE REGULAR 11 INCHES HIGH BOOTS. FAT BABY BOOTS WERE NOT MADE TO RIDE IN AND WERE TO TIGHT AROUND THE ANKLE FOR ME TO GET THE CORRECT SIZE. THANKS FOR COMING UP WITH THE GYPSY BOOTS IN 8 INCH SHAFT AND PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING (I HAVE EVERY 8" STYLE YOU HAVE PUT OUT AND PLAN ON BUYING MORE AS YOU COME UP WITH MORE STYLES). I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST THAT YOU COME UP WITH A SAND TYPE COLOR AND A CREAM OR OFF WHITE COLOR. YOU SAVED MY SANITY WITH THE GYPSY BOOTS THANK YOU
my name is austin thrift and i am 16 years old. i have been wearing boots since i was a young kid. i can not remember what my first pair exactly were but i know that i have been wearing them since i was a young kid. i have recently purchased a pair of bates lacers. when i bought them i thought that they were the most comfortable pair of boots i have ever worn. that is until i recieved a "mom and dad exclusive coupon" for one pair of boots of my choice. what made me want to get a pair of justins was when i went to camp and i had borrowed my brothers justins lacers. they were so freakin comfortable that i decided to ask for some and i reieved them. i got them 4 days after i turned 16 and have been wearing them ever since. i got them my freshman year in high school and i am currently a sophmore. i do not own a single pair of tennis shoes. i wear them every single day and thay have saved me from a busted head on more than one occasion. we have spills regularly in are cafeteria and the no slip soles are the best. i wear the same pair of boots to school, church, and everything in between. thanks for smakeing such a great boot. as for other people who are in the market for a new pair of boots. the justi brands are worth every penny!!!!
I like the George strait waterproof boots b/c they are extremely comfortable, tough and you can wear them in any weather and your feet still stay dry. I also like the exotic ostrich square toe boots b/c they are classy but yet comfortable enough to wear all day as an everyday boot. You don't just have to wear them as a dress up boot. The square toe boots actually give your feet a lot more room to spread out making them the most comfortable boot you could wear. When you have to wear boots all day long comfort is your number one concern and Justin does a great job in creating the ultimate in comfort. I feel very honored to be an endorsee for Justin Boots and to be able to share with others my experiences with wearing the Justin brand.
I have always like Justin Boots because they have the best fit. When I was working as a security guard, I bought the Justin Melo-veal roper boots which served the purpose of a dress uniform boot. I remember everyone always telling me that I have the shiniest boots around, which is why I got them. Those boots lasted me a long time until my feet started growing again. Since, then I have bought more boots to add to my collection. I have several pairs of ropers in black and brown, and workboots to work around the house. These boots are the most comfortable footwear that cannot be beat. I look forward to being a customer for life!
Growing up, I remember watching my machinist dad go to work every day wearing his Justin boots and Stetson. He liked the boots because they were comfortable to stand in all day and the soles didn’t get slippery in the coolant. I begged him to get me some, especially around Stock Show time, but he wouldn’t until my feet stopped growing.
Shortly after starting the ninth grade, Dad took me to the Justin Boot Outlet in Fort Worth and bought me a pair of elephant skin boots. I cannot tell you how proud I am of them. I say ‘am’ as I still have them and they have been re-soled dozens of times over the last 33-years. Though they have worn thin in places and the tops are getting a little ragged, they are still comfortable. I have some newer Justin exotics for dress, but wearing these boots are like hanging out with an old friend.
I have been wearing Justin boots most of my life. About 12 years ago I purchased a pair of Bullhides with leather bottoms that I was especially fond of. They started out being my horse judging and show boots but as they aged they became my everyday boots. On occasion I would have to take them in to the local shoe repair shop for soles and heels. That repair guy would look at me and say "you still got them ole Justins"! As time went by I finally had to part with those ole boots. Someone commented , "are you finally gonna throw those ole boots away"? I said "heck no, I'm gonna bury them up on the hill in the horse pasture". The cross is gone that marked the spot but those Justins are still there today !
One year for Christmas when I was a teenager, my parents gave me a pair of Justin Black Kipskin Ropers. I wore them every day with my Wrangler jeans, and they were so comfortable. I loved them so much that I wore a hole through one of the leather soles. They were eventually re-soled with rubber. Sometime after that, they became too small for me to wear. I loved the way they looked and the way they felt on my feet. They were the best boots I ever had, and I miss them dearly.
Since 1879 people have shared their boot stories with us. They shared them in person, by telegram, by letter and lately, by email. Now, you can share them here. Every boot has a story. We want to hear yours.
