Blown out and reborn
rate this story

I have always wore Justin boots, well that is since I have been an adult and purchasing my own boots. I used to ride bulls for a few years and I always rode with my Justin lace-up ropers because they wouldn't pull off while spurring and didn't require the use of a separate leather cord. On one bad ride I was dumped into the well and took quite a beating physically. As I ran out of the arena I noticed that the stomping of my body blew both soles off those beloved boots. I had them re-soled and continued to wear them for another 8 yrs until they finally cried uncle. "Best darn boots there are in my opinion"!

My JUSTIN LACERS.....

I have got a pair of Bay Apache Justin boots that are 15 years old that my parents bought me for Christmas. They are the most comfortable boots in the world and the only thing I've had to do to them is get new laces. I wear those things out ALL the time and people just love them! Keep up the good work guys! You definitely have a fan here in Georgia!

Dog Gone It

I have always loved cowboy boots however never had a pair of my own until 2 years ago when my father bought me a pair of Justin Boots as a Birthday gift. They have been my favorite pair of boots that I have ever worn, comfortable and yet stylish.

They have been my shoes of choice on casual Fridays at work until I found out this morning that my 5 1/2 month old puppy ate the tip of my boot off. Guess they were his favorites too. Now I don't have any cowboy boots and my puppy has a liking for them! :o) Guess its time to start saving for another pair.

Borrowed Compliments
rate this story

One day after athletics I did not feel like putting on my uncomfortable shoes, so I asked my friend if I could wear her boots. She said yes, and so I put them on and I tucked them in. While we were walking down the hallway a whole bunch of people were telling me how much they liked my boots. Later in the afternoon I went to a volleyball game in a nearby town to go and watch my sisters. Alot of my friends that are on the team commented on them and said that i looked hot. People from the town even complimented them! The funny thing is that she wore them that and no one said anything to her, and a guy told her that he hated her boots. He asked my sister what kind they were and he said they were my friends. The girl that i borrowed them from told me she was going to wear them the next day but she was going to tuck them in.

My father's boots
rate this story

My father was born, raised and died in Arizona. He was a child who played and grow up the desert. It was ranch living, wrangler wearing, Justin boot shuffling.

It was the true State of Arizona, not the place it has become.

As time past, so did his life style and from the ranch, to the military to 35 years of working as a butcher a skill he learned very young. During his work week at the grocery store he wore a white smock with white pants and work boots. On the weekends, he wore a white starch shirt, wranglers and his beloved boots, belt and buckle. I remember as a little girl, pulling his boots off, slipping them on and stomping around the house. He had two pair, his ropers he worked in and his nice boots he wore out.

When he died 8 years ago the only thing I wanted was his boots, his belt and buckle and I got them. I love both pair, his worn dirty, dusty ropers and his beautiful brown leather, pointed toe with decorative stitching.

Although they are about 20 + years old, they are in perfect condition. Today I was cleaning out my attic and I found his boots. I slipped them on as I did as a child and stomped around the house. They fit a little better now and maybe with a couple pair of thick socks I could actually wear them.

Justin boots are not just boots, they are my father's life, my childhood and my memories of my dad.
