Justin Original Workboots® (JOW) – a leading workboot manufacturer – continues its support of Camp Patriot, a non-profit organization that takes disabled veterans on outdoor adventures, donating $50,000 to the cause to-date. This year’s trip honoring the organization, the Third Annual All-American Dove Hunt, hosted Brian McGuire and Frank Wysocki, two American veterans who were injured during their service to our country.
JOW dedicated the three-day event held over Patriot’s Day weekend to McGuire and Wysocki on behalf of all wounded or fallen veterans. Concluding the weekend festivities, JOW presented a check to Camp Patriot for $20,000, the amount raised for the organization this year alone from the sale of boots within the J-Max line – a portion of each workboot sold benefits the organization – as well as company and individual donations collected by JOW.
“It’s an honor to be able to rally together to support two courageous men and one very deserving cause,” said Brandon Barker, brand manager, JOW. “We’re proud to continue to work closely with Camp Patriot for the third year in a row, and look forward to offering our fans a chance to join us next year with the Fourth Annual All-American Dove Hunt Sweepstakes.”
The workboot brand also hosted Clayton M. Cornell of Chatanooga, Tenn., the Third Annual All-American Dove Hunt Sweepstakes winner, during the once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Texas countryside at the Buckin’ B Ranch this Patriot’s Day weekend.
“It was a real honor to be part of the dove hunt,” said Cornell, Third Annual All-American Dove Hunt Sweepstakes winner. “Learning about Camp Patriot was the highlight, and just having the chance to hunt and experience the fellowship with two of America’s wounded warriors was very humbling.”
McGuire, Wysocki, Cornell and his guest, joined a team of All-American celebrities on the hunt including former NFL quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion, Bubby Brister; Texas country music artist, Casey Donahew; and Camp Patriot president Micah Clark.
