Some men play a sport. Others define it. Jim Shoulders elevated rodeo to true sporting status with his legendary bull and bareback riding. He became America’s best-known professional rodeo cowboy while wining five World All-Around Rodeo Champion awards between 1949 and 1959. Hailed as the Babe Ruth of professional rodeo, Shoulders competed from the Cheyenne Frontier Days to Madison Square Garden – always in a pair of Justin boots.
