Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously... Like a glove. As soon as I slipped my foot into these, I knew they were perfect! Upgraded from the bay apache classic ( which I still love ) ... but the upgrades were very noticeable. Much softer insert, and a little wider in the toe. ( not much different in color than the bay apache... I was hoping for more of a tan...) ...But they are too awesome to loose my five star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good boot. Bought the boot about a year ago and wear them a lot. At first I thought I would just wear them for casual wear because I have several other pair of work boots but ended up wearing them for work too. I needed to waterproof them though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not fit I have had several pair of Justin ropers and never had a problem with them until I ordered these particular boots. When they arrived I attempted to put one on and couldn't even get my foot past the opening. I ordered a size 11 EE, which is what I've worn for years. I don't know what the difference is in these unless they were mis-stamped for size, I'm not sure. I am very disappointed in these boots and I sent them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Wearing I bought these boots after a motorcycle wreck changed the way I walk and i couldn't wear a higher heal anymore. That was in April of 2006 and they still fit and wear like a glove. I usually wear these 2-3 times a week and I have just now noticed that I will need to replace the heal and sole soon. I would say that they are Long Wearing as they are now 10+ years old. Buy them you won't be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from First time I've had issues with Justin Boots. I just received these today. I was looking forward to wearing them until I tried to put them on. It says they are 10.5 EE, but, I can't even begin to get my foot in them. Fits more like a size 7. I have worn Justin Boots for over 20 years and this is the first time I've ever had any issues with them. They are probably good, comfortable boots. Just don't fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to put on This is my first experience with Justin boots so I'm not sure how they usually fit, but I absolutely could not get them on. The opening is so narrow I could not get my foot into them and I have a completely normal size/width foot. I don't know how anyone can actually wear these things. Had to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to put on. I have had many pairs of these boots. Bought the same size and couldn't get my foot through the narrow top. Impossible. Ended up giving them away.

Boot Fit Tips

Because boots don't have laces, proper fit is all about the instep.
Boots should feel snug in this area, but not tight.
If the instep is too tight, go for a wider or bigger size.

The widest part of the foot is called the ball (it's where you bend your foot when you walk or run).
Make sure the ball of your foot lines up with the the ball of the boot (that's the widest part of the boot where the steel shank ends).
If the boot is too short, your toes will be forced into the toe box.

Boots should slip slightly in the heel. Boots are built in such a way that there's nothing to keep your heel from riding up a bit.
As you wear the boot, the sole will become more flexible and most of the slippage will disappear with time.
If the instep is too loose, the boot will slip too much, which means that you need a narrower or smaller size boot.
