Swamp Logger Bo Malpass Pays it Forward

We recently caught up with our favorite swamp logger, Milton "Bo" Malpass, well-known for his appearance on the Discovery Channel's TV show "Swamp Loggers." He shared with us photos and stories about his newest pair of steel-toe J-Max workboots that are handcrafted in the USA. Upon receiving the new footwear, Bo decided to pay it forward and give his old pair of Justin Workboots to a family friend, Curtis Citarelli.

Curtis is a firefighter at the New Hanover County Fire station in Wilmington, N.C. Curtis and his father, who was chief at Sloop Point in Hampstead, have developed a close relationship with the Malpass family. Several years ago, Bo's son was severely burned and the Citarelli men were good friends during the time of need, even putting the Malpass family in touch with a local charitable group that provided needed assistance.

Bo swears by his reliable workboots and knew even though his boots weren't fit for the swamp anymore, they would do perfectly for Curtis' line of work. They represent a small token of thanks to a close friend. Curtis, a Justin Boots fan himself, happily agreed.
