Justin Original Workboots (JOW) held the Second Annual Dirtiest Workboots Contest in search of America's hardest worker this Labor Day, selecting a deserving winner. After a month-long search, Jon Birkemeyer from Damariscotta, Maine, was chosen for his sincere story about his combat boots that have been with him through thick and thin.

"I saw the contest online and thought my story could show everyone the true meaning of hard work and the memories that boots can bring someone," said Birkemeyer, Second Annual Dirtiest Workboots Contest winner. "I served in the military for over five years and I had one pair of boots that stood out the most. They have gone overseas and have seen a lot - during battle and more."

More than 100 JOW fans submitted photos and videos of their grimey boots but Birkemeyer's patriotic story clearly stood out. He was awarded a year's supply of footwear from JOW and workwear apparel from RIGGS WORKWEAR® by Wrangler®.
