This month Justin Original Workboots® (JOW) continues its support of Camp Patriot – a nonprofit organization that takes disabled veterans on outdoor adventures – with the help of Classic Alaska by taking two Marine Corps veterans on a fishing trip in the Alaskan wild. The five-day event will kick off July 5 and honor two brave soldiers on behalf of all wounded or fallen American veterans.

Isaac, one of the honored guests, has deployed overseas four times; three times to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. On his third deployment, he sustained severe injuries and after receiving another injury, required a below-the-knee amputation. Today, Isaac is enjoying life with his daughter and wife.

The second veteran guest, Sam, was deployed to Iraq several times before being assigned to a Marine Special Operations Team in Afghanistan. Last year, Sam received a below-the-knee amputation and endured other critical injuries during combat. After receiving the Purple Heart and other recognitions for his bravery, Sam is currently recovering and preparing for his next deployment June 2014.
