About Dustin Boquet

Dustin Boquet grew up in the bayou in Bourg, LA with his father, Reed Boquet, his mother Angela Lee, and two siblings Jacob and Tiffany.

Dustin's passion for rodeo sparked at a young age when he first climbed atop a steer at a mere 12 years of age and felt the exhilaration of the ride for the first time. From that moment, he knew he was destined for greatness in the rodeo arena. With determination in his heart and a love for the sport that knew no bounds, Dustin relentlessly pursued his dream.

His breakthrough year came in 2018 when he earned his first qualification for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR). It was a defining moment in his career, and he seized the opportunity to showcase his talent on the grandest stage of rodeo. In Round 6 of the NFR, Dustin's remarkable performance catapulted him to a seventh-place finish in the world standings, leaving a lasting impression on rodeo enthusiasts everywhere.

As the years rolled by, Dustin's stardom continued to rise. With each competition he entered, he left his mark, displaying unparalleled grit and skill. In 2020, he once again proved his mettle, finishing eighth in the world standings and claiming victory in Round 6 at the NFR the historic year the NFR was held in Arlington, Texas. His successes weren't limited to the NFR; he conquered various rodeos across the country, adding to his list of career highlights.

In 2021, Dustin faced adversity when an injury cut his NFR journey short, but he didn't let that setback dampen his spirit. Determined to overcome any obstacles that came his way, he bounced back with a vengeance in 2022. His unwavering dedication paid off as he emerged victorious in the Blackshear Farms Xtreme Bullriding and various other prestigious rodeos.

The year 2023 was a year of growth, and his mental strength was tested. Dustin Boquet left a trail of triumphs, in early 2023 after recovering from an injury, by finishing the year strong and winning the Guadalupe County Fair & PRCA Rodeo, the Panola County Cattlemen's ProRodeo, and the West of The Pecos Rodeo, all in impressive fashion. His name became synonymous with excellence in the rodeo world, and Team Justin is proud to have him as one of our own.

Outside the arena, Dustin remains humble and grounded, cherishing the love and support of his family. His parents, who worked hard in Louisiana, instilled in him the values of perseverance and humility. Despite the accolades and fame, he never forgets where he came from and always lends a helping hand to those in need.

Dustin's journey with Team Justin isn’t just about winning championships; it’s about inspiring the next generation of rodeo enthusiasts. He mentors young riders, sharing his wisdom and encouraging them to follow their dreams, just as he did.
