World Champion Roper
Haven Meged is a Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) world champion tie-down roper from Miles City, Montana, who has quickly established himself as one of the premier athletes in professional rodeo. With career earnings surpassing $1 million, Haven has proven his talent time and again. In 2019, he entered the scene by winning his first World Championship and the NFR Average title in his rookie season. He repeated that NFR Average victory in 2023, setting a record with an incredible 77.4 seconds in 10 rounds.
Haven’s 2023 season was a standout, ending second in the PRCA World Standings and first in the Wrangler NFR Standings with total earnings of $411,263, including $216,195 at the NFR. He placed in eight rounds and made headlines with a record-setting 6.4-second run in Round 7. Throughout his career, Haven has consistently placed high in the world standings, qualifying for five consecutive NFRs from 2019 to 2023.
In addition to his PRCA achievements, Haven is known for his success at major rodeos like the Calgary Stampede and the Ponoka Stampede, along with multiple all-around titles. He also holds the 2018 Montana Circuit Year-End title and was the 2018 NIRA Central Plains Champion.
When he’s not competing, Haven enjoys fishing, ranch work, and golfing. He is married to NFBR qualifier Shelby Boisjoli, and they share a passion for rodeo life. With a relentless drive and dedication to his craft, Haven Meged continues to make his mark as one of the most formidable tie-down ropers in the sport.
