About Jess Pope
Jesse “Jess” Pope, 2022 PRCA World Champion Bareback Rider, knows what it takes to come out on top. Each day he wakes up determined to be better than he was the day before.
Growing up on a farm in Waverly, Kansas, Jess was exposed to horses and rodeo at a young age.
Since the start of his career, he has made exceptional strides in the industry. He has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) for seven consecutive years, starting in 2020.
At only 24 years old, Jess went on to win his first World Champion Bareback Riding title. This only marked the start of his highly decorated career.
While Jess is a fierce competitor inside the arena, outside the arena, he enjoys spending time with his traveling partners and fellow bareback riding competitors, Tim O'Connell, Cole Franks, and his brother Ty Pope.
Aside from being a household name in the arena, Jess is a proud husband and father to his wife Sydney and daughter Linlee Jean.
With 7 NFR qualifications, 3 NFR average titles and a PRCA World Championship under his belt, making his career earnings exceed $2 million, it’s no surprise why Jess Pope is a fan favorite.
