Rated 5 out of 5 by from most comfortable I have a pair that are over 5 yrs old. They are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes that i own, besides my other pair of Justin lace ups that are also 5 or 6 years old. Love the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DURABLE I have had more than 10 pair of the lace up boots by Justin. when my newest pair wears out i just go out and buy another pair. this is how much I believe in these boots. would not buy anything but justin lace up chukkas. I am very hard on boots. When I was 7 I was in a car wreck that left me severely injured and burned over 85% of my body. my left leg muscle and skin was burned off. I only have the left bone with skin grown on it. therefore I stand on my right leg all the time wearing the sole out on my right shoe. Also my left foot does not match my right foot so when i wear boots or shoes my foot does not look right in the boot or shoe. I have tried different brands of shoes and boots none seem to compare to the Justin cowhide chukka lace up boots. they are definitely my favorite boots ever!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from really nice chukkas Bought these about a month ago. Really like the comfort level and the fact that they seem almost broken in when you first put them on. The only criticism I could offer is the laces. They are not very easy to lace due to the material the laces are made of. Other than that they are fantastic!

Boot Fit Tips

Because boots don't have laces, proper fit is all about the instep.
Boots should feel snug in this area, but not tight.
If the instep is too tight, go for a wider or bigger size.

The widest part of the foot is called the ball (it's where you bend your foot when you walk or run).
Make sure the ball of your foot lines up with the the ball of the boot (that's the widest part of the boot where the steel shank ends).
If the boot is too short, your toes will be forced into the toe box.

Boots should slip slightly in the heel. Boots are built in such a way that there's nothing to keep your heel from riding up a bit.
As you wear the boot, the sole will become more flexible and most of the slippage will disappear with time.
If the instep is too loose, the boot will slip too much, which means that you need a narrower or smaller size boot.
